Consider who is telling you that and theirbtreatment of women in general. I believe your service is recognized and appreciated by a majority of Americans.

My grandmother served in the Army during WWII because of this program. She met my grandfather overseas and after a lifetime together they are both buried in Arlington.

I served in the US Army for 8 years. I became permanently injured due to my service. I am proud to have served, but in recent years, I have been told that my service doesn't count because I am a woman. This makes me very sad and angry.

It unequivocally counts. Not just because you chose to serve our country but also because you chose to serve a country which still struggles to fulfill its most basic idea that all are created equal. You have my highest and deepest respect, Jennifer.

I am proud to say Chrissy Houlahan represents my district in Congress. She has done a fantastic job and keeps her constituents informed with integrity and transparency. If only the rest of Congress and the Senate was made up of folks like her!

My grandmother served as an army nurse in WW1. Met my grandfather who had emigrated from Co Cork and also served in the US army. They are buried together in PA.
