I just love these vignettes. LBJ was such a sharp dresser. To have come from poverty and deprivation, he always believed in himself until the end when he inherited a war he neither started nor endorsed. What a great man with an even greater wife. Famous news interviewer met lady bird and knew he was going to mess up the interview. Sure enough he accidentally called her lady bug :)
This is why we need proportional representation! If a party gets 30% of the vote, it should get 30% of the seats. It would end gerrymandering and elect more diverse representatives!
