Adam Kinzinger is a retired military officer, former U.S. Representative, and current political commentator known for his views on the evolving Republican Party and serving as one of two Republicans appointed to the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack. Kinzinger details the formation of NATO, the defensive security alliance that has helped to keep the world safe since 1949.

Adam Kinzinger has shown us how a real American, a real man, acts when his country is in trouble. He stepped up even though he knew it was going to cost him.
I don't agree with all of his political stances, but as HCR has pointed out repeatedly, we need at least two political parties *acting in good faith* to have a strong small-d democracy.
Thank you, Adam Kinzinger, for your voice and ongoing service. What I find chilling about the subject is that the current U.S. president, as I understand it, continues to threaten withdrawal from NATO.
And naturally, sincere appreciation goes to the professor and the 250 to 250 team for these awesome brief and powerful history lessons.
